Config is immutable versions per mirror. A change is the next version with who applied it, why, and its review state; a person’s change is approved at once, an agent’s waits for review (improve_review_list, improve_review_decide). Revert copies an older version forward. Knobs: simModel (the simulation model, from the allow list), synthesis (whether the build may synthesize implementations), inventionVolume (rows per entity the build may invent; 0 keeps recorded data only). Per-tool overrides, the levers drift names: pinRung (answer from a fixed rung: provided, custom, workspace, sink, world, synthesized, simulated), editOperation (the world operation behind the tool), editTemplate (the response template as a JSONata expression), customImplementation (JavaScript that answers the tool), addExamples (recorded examples), describeBehavior (a rule in words the simulator honours), ignore. World overrides: renameEntity, addField, removeField, setLifecycle, addTransition, replaceTransition, addGuard, addInvariant, addRelation, note. Scenarios: named seed specs (rows per entity, files, a clock) a session opens with; seed instructions in words seed a session on the fly. Every override is a build input: request a build (mirrors_builds_request) for it to take effect; the twin restarts onto the new build when it activates.
