# Plans and usage

> What is metered, the plans, the card, offers and invoicing.

## What is metered

* **Replay minutes**: time twins spend answering replays, the console
  and your agents.
* **Model spend**: what builds, the simulator and the agents cost in
model calls, in dollars, against a ceiling per plan.
* **Credits**: the monthly allowance the two are drawn from.

Usage refreshes on the Billing screen every thirty seconds and is
broken down per mirror. Ceilings are per plan; an admin can raise one
for a workspace.

## Plans

| Plan | How it bills |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Free | one mirror, sixty replay minutes a month, a small model budget |
| Pay as you go | a card on file; replay minutes and model spend metered monthly |
| Startup (tiers) | a fixed monthly amount with an allowance, then metering |
| Committed | an annual commitment with a floor and a cap, invoiced |
| Business | committed plus security review, custom terms and onboarding |

A trial is granted by an admin, never sold; it ends on a date.

## The card

When usage passes the free allowance, or a trial ends, the app shows
the card wall: pick a metered plan and the hosted checkout collects the
card. Billing and pricing stay reachable behind the wall. Coming back
from checkout, the app polls billing until the plan shows.

## Offers

A per-customer offer (a plan, a tier, a floor, a cap, notice days, an
expiry) appears as a card on Billing; accepting it goes to checkout.
Invoiced plans hide the money controls; cancel and resume apply to
card-billed plans and run to the end of the period.
